What You Will Learn

Module 1 THE SCIENCE OF STRESS Discovering why your body responds as it does to stress, the distinction between good and bad stress, and what long term stress does to performance, creativity, and health.

Module 2: Personal Stress Mapping Identifying what stress looks like for you, knowing how to recognise when stress is building up in your body and understanding what you are doing now to cope with stress that is helpful and not helpful.

Module 3: Instant Response Methods Think of this as Practical, workplace friendly tools for when our stress goes from 0 to 60 in two breaths from relaxation breathing exercises that actually make a difference, to re framing methods for fast, nervous system reset.

Module 4: Communication and Boundaries How to communicate about workload honestly without looking incompetent, agreeing on realistic expectations with your colleagues and managers, and saying "No" in a way that supports your working relationships.

Module 5: Long term Resilience Building a sustainable daily practice, getting the skills and support you need to confidently tackle what your workplace throws at you.

Module 6: Workplace Culture and Stress Insight into how workplace culture contributes to stress, managing difficult coworkers and how to help bring about positive change in your team.

Training Methodology

This is an interactive / hands on course. Group discussion, personal reflection activities, and a role play are used. Every module has a Reader Take Away and doable strategies that you can put into action today.

We'll shine a spotlight on the Australian workplace and refer to local case studies, discussing the issues the current Australian workforce face from open plan office cultures to the pressures of remote work.
